By using Estonian Companies you accept these terms. They are short because the site does one thing: it republishes public company data and shows figures calculated from it.
Information only
The site is for information. It is not an official register extract. For the legal record of a company use the e-Business Register atariregister.rik.ee. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or investment advice, a credit report or a rating.
No affiliation
Not affiliated with the Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK), the e-Business Register, the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA) or any Estonian authority. The names are used to state where the data comes from.
Calculated values are not assessments
Ratios, growth rates, rankings and the score that decides which companies are shown are calculations by this site. They follow the formulas ondata sources and methodology. They do not say that a company is sound, weak, reliable or unreliable. Do not base a decision about creditworthiness, employment or insurance on this site alone.
No warranty
The data comes from third parties and can be incomplete, late or wrong. We check it against the source files when we build the site, and we correct what we find or what you report. We give no warranty that the data is accurate, complete or current, and we are not liable for loss that arises from using it, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Licence and use of the data
Company data on this site is available underCC BY-SA 4.0. It is based on the e-Business Register open data of RIK and on EMTA open data, and we have modified it. If you reuse it, you have to credit Estonian Companies and the original sources, indicate that the data was modified, and share what you build from it under the same licence. The licence question for each source is set out on the data sources page.
The layout, text and code of the site are our own. You may quote short extracts with a link to the page. Do not copy the site as a whole.
Fair use of the site
Use the site at a normal pace. Do not try to overload it, bypass its limits or take the whole data set page by page. If you need the data in bulk, the sources named on the data sources page publish it directly.
Removal and correction
Any company can ask to be removed, without giving a reason, and we act within 30 days. You can also report an error. Use the contact form. Theprivacy policy explains the process.
Changes and law
We can change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. The site is operated by Ökrös László EV., Hungary. Hungarian law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
